My Story
I was born and raised in Central New Jersey. While growing up, I have always admired the K9 Officers of the Trenton Police Department and the heroic work they do. This admiration drove me to the knowledge that I wanted to work with dogs to better our families and communities. Now, a 21 year Veteran of the Trenton Police Department, I have over 12 years of experience as a K9 Handler. I started my K9 Career being assigned a Belgian Malinois, and I went on to train in explosives detection and patrol work. Years later, I was assigned a second K9 Partner who I trained in narcotics detection while simultaneously beginning my training to become a K9 Trainer myself. In 2019, I am proud to say that I completed my work to become a K9 Trainer and have diligently worked alongside many K9 Handlers and their partners to develop and prepare them as best as possible for their work in the community. In addition, I am one of the founding members of the non-profit Capital K9 Association, providing life saving equipment for nearly 100 K9s throughout our country. My passion for dogs has carried with me throughout my life as I share my knowledge though my work with Full Service Canine.
